A symbolic donation to the Fondation du Patrimoine

On Friday, January 16, 2026, at the Château du Clos de Vougeot, Erwan Faiveley handed a cheque of forty-six thousand euros over to the Fondation du Patrimoine for the restoration of the Château du Clos de Vougeot’s northeastern tower.

This donation, generated from the auction of Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru bottles organized with Christie’s in November 2025, brings the Domaine’s 200th anniversary celebrations to a close. The presentation of the check, representing the amount of the donation, took place in the presence of Guillaume Poitrinal, President of the Fondation du Patrimoine, Jean-Christophe Bonnard, Regional Delegate of the Fondation du Patrimoine for Bourgogne–Franche-Comté, Jean-François Curie, Grand Master of the Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin, Arnaud Orsel, Secretary General of the Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin.
