Clos des Issarts Monopole

Premier Cru

Nestling to the south-west of the village, this monopole is the smallest in the Burgundy region. Ideally positioned next to Les Ruchottes and overlooking Les Mazis, it totals 0.61 ha. Each of its terraces delivers a distinct nuance with the high terrace imparting richness and power to the wine, while the low terrace wraps it in light and mineral floral notes. Located at the heart of the Clos stands a small country house with a typically Burgundian roof made of multicoloured coated tiles, which we eagerly renovated in 2017. Today it houses the studio of the renowned Dijon-born artist Laëtitia de Bazelaire.

TASTING

Ripe fruit aromas and woody, liquorice notes dominate the nose. Fine round and silky tannins on the palate. An elegant and well-balanced wine.
