Musigny

Our Musigny Grand Cru plots, overlooking Clos de Vougeot, are steeped in a rich history dating back to Gallo-Roman times. Once the property of Musinus, these vines now produce one of our estate’s most inconic wines, with just 400–500 bottles produced each year. Our vines bask in the rising sun on shallow soil combining limestone, red clay and gravel. Made from whole grapes and aged in 100% new barrels, our Musigny Grand Cru reveals a captivating aromatic complexity.

TASTING

Thanks to its ageing in feuillettes, which are smaller than traditional barrels, this wine displays a highly original profile. It offers remarkable concentration, with chocolate aromas mingling with fresh nuances of liquorice and herbs stemming from the whole harvest. This exceptional wine’s superb aromatic richness and persistent presence on the palate highlight its assertive character.
