Christy Canterbury from Tim Atkins scored two of our wines 97/100

"Surprisingly voluptuous for the vintage"
2021 - Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru
"The palate is stylish, moreish and bewitching"
2021 - Bienvenue-Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru

2021 – Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru
“This is open and inviting on the nose with pronounced peach blossom notes and a touch of patisserie. Vinous and mouthfiling, this is surprisingly voluptuous for the vintage. Baking spice complements the intense fruit vibrancy, and the discreet saline touch at the end focuses unctuous finish. This is remarkably suave. These vines were planted in 1985 and 1997 and purchased by Faiveley in 2008.”

2021 – Bienvenue-Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru
“This starts with a fragrant, supple and complex nose that smells of toasted hazelnuts, vanilla bean, sweet citrus and Comice pear peel. The notable concentration is head-turning. It is one of those wines you wouldn’t mind just smelling over and over again, even without sipping. But it would be a shame to miss as the palate is stylish, moreish and bewitching.
Purchased in 2008, along with the Bâtard-Montrachet, these vines were planted in 1980.”
