Located south of the village, this climate has similarities with that of the ‘Saint-Georges’, though a little more rustic. It was ranked among the best in Nuits by Dr Lavalle in 1855. These vines, the very first to be acquired by our family in the 1870s, hold a very special place in our hearts and history. They produce a powerful, structured and tannic wine typical of Nuits Saint-Georges. Its distinctive character stems from the deep, stony, brown limestone soils that stretch across 1.68 ha.

TASTING
Black fruit aromas emerge combined with a subtle hint of wood and smoke. The fleshy and generous attack develops into a crescendo of power and structure. Beautifully well balanced with excellent ageing potential.
